Angolan Music and its styles

These are some styles of the Angolan music:
Kisomba,whose origin comes from kimbundo has a great number of musical styles as the zouhs.
Other musical styles appeared such as semba, maringa, kabelula and caduque which gave origin to musical style Rebita.
Among these rhytms reappears the “Kuduro style” which is danced in groups and becoming a familiar dance performing the same steps with different choreographies.So is the magole style-beat,beat,beat

Kizomba

Is one of the most popular genres of dance and music created in Angola. Derived directly from Zouk music, sung generally in Portuguese, it is a genre of music with a romantic flow mixed with African rhythm. The kizomba dancing style is also known to be very sensual. Although it was created in Angola it is often considered Portuguese due to it being sung in Portuguese and its popularity throughout Portugal.





Music of Angola
The music of Angola has been shaped both by wider musical trends and by the political history of the country. In the 20th century, Angola has been wracked by violence and political instability. Its musicians have been oppressed by government forces, both during the period of Portuguese colonization and after independence. Angolan music also influenced Lusophone music in Brazil and Cuban music.
The capital and largest city of Angola is Luanda, home to a diverse group of styles including Angolan merengue (based on Dominican merengue), Kilapanda and Semba, the last being a genre with roots intertwined with that of Brazilian samba music. Just off the coast of Luanda is Ilha do Cabo, home to an accordion and harmonica-based style of music called rebita.
Lyrics of these songs are sung in Portuguese, which is spoken by most of Angolans (as first or second language, beside bantu languages).


Kuduro

It is an urban music features, and comes up with the cities, especially with the growth of Luanda. Around the capital, there are great Kuduro by being a kind, in our view, unpredictable and oddly spontaneous. Kuduro is the product of spontaneity that comes rhythmic moving a number of young people who choose to dance music as an ideal partner. settlements, the "musseques".
